Flash Media Encoder at Adobe labs

Flash Media Encoder(FME) is now available at adobe labs. The application can be used to capture audio and video while streaming it live to Flash Media Server. You can download the application here.The application is mainly targeted at users who want high-quality streaming to broadcast live events. This tool will defenetly help flash/flex developers to get their job done quicker.

The application provides various encoding options. It uses vp6 technology for encoding. The application generates an output as a Flash Video (FLV). You need a copy of Flash Media Server(FMS) to test the application.
